EBI Resources Explores Hospitality Cooperation with Tabung Haji Malaysia

EBI Resources visited the offices of Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur to explore cooperation in religious tourism. Representatives Agus Ruhiat and Iwel Sastra presented the group’s hospitality portfolio in Uzbekistan, including Hadith Hotel and Hotel Kampoeng Indonesia at the Imam Bukhari Complex in Samarkand.

The visit was received by Tabung Haji chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Hussain, who introduced the chairman of TH Travel & Services, Mohamed Izam bin Mohamed Yusof, and its CEO, YM Tengku Dato’ Badlishah Shukri bin Tengku Ibrahim. The discussion focused on travel and accommodation for Malaysian visitors to Uzbekistan.

Both sides considered Uzbekistan’s promotion of Islamic heritage destinations in Samarkand and Tashkent, and the possibility that EBI Resources hotels could serve Malaysian travellers — in particular pilgrims and guests visiting historic Islamic sites.
